Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions? You might find your answers here! For anything not covered, feel free to contact me.

What information should I include in my commission inquiry?

To help me provide an accurate quote and understand your needs, please include:

  • Your name/handle.
  • The type of service you're interested in (e.g., full body Live2D art & rig, character illustration, emotes).
  • A clear description of your character (visual references are highly encouraged!).
  • Intended use (e.g., Vtubing on Twitch/YouTube, personal use).
  • Any specific features, expressions, or style notes.
  • Your budget range, if you have one (optional, but helpful).
The more detail you provide, the better!

What is your typical turnaround time?

Turnaround time varies significantly based on the complexity of the project and my current queue.

  • Emotes/Badges: Typically 1-2 weeks.
  • Character Illustrations: 2-4 weeks.
  • Vtuber Model Art (PSD): 3-6 weeks.
  • Live2D Rigging (Basic to Standard): 2-4 weeks (after PSD is finalized).
  • Live2D Rigging (Complex/Advanced): 4-8+ weeks (after PSD is finalized).
These are estimates. I will provide a more accurate timeframe once we discuss your project details.

What are your payment terms and methods?

I typically require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your commission slot and begin work. The remaining 50% is due upon completion, before delivery of the final, unwatermarked files. I primarily accept payments via [e.g., PayPal, Stripe - Specify Your Methods Here]. For larger projects, payment plans might be negotiable. Full details are in my Terms of Service.

Do you offer rigging for art drawn by other artists?

Yes, absolutely! As long as the artwork is provided as a properly layered PSD file optimized for Live2D rigging, I'm happy to rig it. If you or your artist are unsure about PSD preparation, I can provide a guide or consultation. Please ensure you have explicit permission from the original artist to have their work rigged and used.

What if I need revisions?

My commission process includes specific stages for revisions:

  • Sketch Phase (for Art): Major revisions to poses, outfits, and overall design can be made here.
  • Lineart/Coloring Phase (for Art): Minor adjustments to details and colors.
  • Rigging Phase: Minor adjustments to movement and expressions.
Significant changes requested after a stage has been approved may incur additional fees. I strive for clear communication to minimize this. Please see my Terms of Service for the full revision policy.

What software do you use?

For illustration and PSD preparation, I primarily use [e.g., Clip Studio Paint EX, Photoshop - Specify Your Software]. For Live2D rigging, I use Live2D Cubism Editor (Pro version).

What rights do I get with the commissioned work?

For standard Vtuber model commissions (art and/or rig), you receive rights for personal and streaming/content creation usage (e.g., on Twitch, YouTube). Commercial rights for merchandise (e.g., selling prints, keychains with the art) usually require an additional fee and must be discussed beforehand. You may not resell the model or claim the artwork/rigging as your own creation. Full details are in my Terms of Service.
